Mahmoods Ramadam TV Commercial

I was commisioned by Motus TV to design and animate some engaging, child friendly characters for the Mahmoods fast food franchise. These characters were to be used in a television advertising campaign and on printed menus and signage.

I ended up going with a series of characters based around their top selling products. As their logo featured to stylised burgers forming the ‘oo’ of Mahmoods, it made sense to concentrate on them, and they were the first characters to be used in an advert.

Animation was produced using Anime Studio, Flash and After Effects, with Principle Character Animation provided by Mike Green. The guys at Motus TV produced the live action part of the ad, and also did the sound bed on the animated graphics at the end.

This project was notable for being the first time  I had got to use anime studio and after effects together to produce animated content, and there is definitely no going back!
